History

He won back-to-back AL MVP awards in 1993-94, retired in 2008 with 521 home runs, 1,704 RBI, .301 average, .419 OBP, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.[1][2]

Collector notes
Condition. Check for centering issues, edge wear, corner dings, print defects, and surface scratches common in high-volume 1990 Topps production; avoid cards with print snow or off-centering; for error 'No Name on Front' variant, verify absence of nameplate.
Storage. Store in UV-protected magnetic one-touch holders or semi-rigid top-loaders with sleeves; maintain in cool, dry environment away from sunlight to prevent fading.
Authenticity. Examine for correct '#1 Draft Pick' stamp font and placement; check card stock thickness and gloss (Tiffany has higher gloss); use graded/graded/graded population reports for serial verification; fakes rare but watch for pixelated printing or incorrect back stats.
