Mega Diancie ex

Market outlook

Declining Outlook 6/10

The 30-day change of -$6.58 (-33.5%) shows a significant downward trend, likely due to initial hype fading and more units entering the market[1].

Next months. Prices may stabilize between $5.00 and $7.00 in the next 3-6 months as the market adjusts[5].

Long term. Over 1-3 years, value could recover if the card remains popular in competitive play or collector circles, potentially reaching $10-$15[1].

History

Mega Diancie is a Psychic-type Pokémon that evolves from regular Diancie upon reaching high friendship and using a specific item. It is a mythical rock/pink Pokémon known for its diamond-like exterior and defensive capabilities, with the ability 'Diamond Coat' reducing incoming damage by 30 points after weakness/resistance adjustments[2].

• It has a HP of 270, making it one of the highest HP cards in the set[2][4].
• The card features the Full Art variant, meaning the artwork extends across the entire card with no borders[1].
• Its attack 'Garland Ray' discards up to 2 Energy cards to deal 120 damage per discarded card[2].

Collector notes

Condition. Check for corner dings, edge wear, and holographic scratches on the Full Art surface. Common flaws include creasing along the center and whitening on corners due to handling[1].

Storage. Store in a magic-sized penny sleeve followed by a top loader to prevent bending. Keep away from humidity and direct sunlight to preserve the holographic finish[1].

Authenticity. Fakes often have off-center printing, missing holographic texture, or incorrect font weights. Authentic copies have precise alignment and the 'Mega Attack Rare' stamp clearly visible[1][4].
