Pikachu

Pikachu is the iconic mascot of the Pokémon franchise, first introduced in 1996 as a yellow Electric-type mouse Pokémon known for its adorable appearance, red cheeks that store electricity, and ability to unleash powerful Thunderbolt attacks. It serves as Ash Ketchum's loyal partner in the anime, symbolizing friendship and determination, and has appeared in countless games, movies, and merchandise, making it the most recognizable Pokémon worldwide.

First printed in 2024 as part of the Pokémon Day promotional release tied to the Temporal Forces set, distributed via special events and bundles[1][2][4].

• Released alongside Temporal Forces expansion on March 22, 2024[3][4]

Condition. Check for centering issues on the holo pattern, edge wear from promo bundling, surface scratches on the Cosmos Holo foil, and chipping on the Pokémon Day stamp; common flaws include print lines and minor whitening on edges.

Storage. Store in semi-rigid top loaders or magnetic holders to protect the foil; use sleeves for handling and keep in cool, dry environments away from sunlight to prevent foil oxidation.

Authenticity. Verify black market holo stamp alignment and font on '051/162'; genuine cards have crisp Pokémon Day stamp without bleeding; check UV under light for security fibers; avoid cards with incorrect foil reflection or weight discrepancies.
